Sullair, an industry leader in innovative compressed air solutions since 1965, today introduced its 375H Tier 4 Final diesel portable air compressor powered by a Perkins engine at The 2019 Rental Show. The Perkins-powered machine will be offered alongside a current Cat-powered offering, providing customers with choices regarding their preferred engine.

“Sullair is pleased to collaborate with such a respected and valued brand like Perkins to offer our customers an additional option in our 375 Series portable air compressors,” said Russell Warner, Vice President of Rental & Infrastructure Sales. “Perkins is known for its reputation of reliability and dependability, and directly aligns with our customers’ expectation of durability and performance to help them get the job done.”

The unit is powered by a Tier 4 Final emissions compliant Perkins® 1204F-E44, 4-cylinder engine rated at 122 horsepower.

“The Perkins 4.4 liter gives Sullair’s customers the performance, durability and reliability they expect, while providing the flexibility that rental companies require for parts and service,” said Andy Zuckerman, Perkins Engines global rental manager. “Our strong and vast dealer support network can be relied upon to maximize uptime in the field.”

With 375 cfm at 150 psig, the 375H Perkins features the same durability, simple serviceability and maneuverability customers have come to expect from Sullair. Its compact design makes it easier to tow to and from the job site and store in the equipment yard. Swing doors with slam latches offer easy access to key components including the cooler, fluids, air filters, engine filters and the battery.

The unit includes a legendary 16-series air end assembled in the USA and an oversized 65-gallon fuel tank providing up to 10 hours of runtime at full load. The 375H Perkins meets the needs of a variety of applications, from general construction and abrasive blasting to optical fiber installation and pipeline work.

With the addition of the Perkins-powered unit, the 375 Series of Sullair portable compressors currently includes five units ranging from 375-425 cfm at 150-200 psi.
